Well, Hearthstone would be a better game if every single card was avaliable free, and that you can buy optional packs that contain golden version of the cards only, and maybe even add more levels of card design, bronze, silver, gold, platinum etc, that all give the card a cosmetic effect. In that regard, Hearthstone has clearly and repetitively been shown to be just fine and in no way, shape or form comparable to the likes of Diablo Immortal. We're arguing "winning" and that's generally defined by how far ahead you can get in a competitive gaming scene. But what we're arguing here is not whether you can get a complete collection or not. Yes, Hearthstone is ABSOLUTELY worse than some other digital card games than Legends of Runeterra where you can easily eventually have a complete collection without paying a dime. You're just absolutely and completely wrong and need to stop making arguments without knowing a thing. Sorry, but the system is terrible.You can absolutely have a top tier competitive deck within less than a week of very casual (see 20-30 minutes) play even if you just skip the apprentice ranks and just take the pre built deck you get for free.
I know enough, I know I can never play Hearthstone, cause I don't have months to spend to get a decent competitive deck, and I won't pay anything either.
